The Concealed I

Good Hello! I can see you, but you cannot see me. I am the concealed "I". How far can I go on the Internet with this self-issued, pseudonymous identity? NOWHERE! Or, rather, not too far. To do anything useful, I need to provide a stronger link to my biological identity. So much for the privacy claims of OpenID --and of the claims of the large corporate partners who have just signed on to the OpenID project.
